PHP 5.3.0 (or higher, without Zend Multibyte support due to a bug in 5.3.0 and 5.3.1)
At least 180 MB memory for PHP if you want to run all unit tests
optional: Webserver (Apache, IIS, ...)

optional: Internet connection
